te_ri, an instrumental duo band with only a directly amped guitar and stiff drums, celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2022 after its formation in 2007.

To commemorate the occasion, this album is released on cassette and download, and is a co-production between Murakami's own label, CADISC, and Ruego.

The idea behind this particular piece is to create complex and bizarre rhythms by taking advantage of bugs in composition software and weaving stylish melodies into them, while challenging the taste of traditional Japanese music and minor keys.

It also includes covers of Aphex Twin's "Girl/Boy Song" and Egberto Gismonti's "palhaço," both of which were frequently requested by the audience to be recorded in the studio.
